Plant and crop care can be challenging for users without technical knowledge. The lack of clear information, reminders, and tracking often leads to mistakes in watering, exposure, and maintenance, negatively affecting plant health and discouraging users.

My Responsibilities

User Research
I analyzed behaviors and needs of people interested in plant care, identifying common difficulties, recurring questions, and expectations around growth tracking.

User & Use Case Definition
I identified beginner and plant-enthusiast user profiles, considering different experience levels and usage contexts.

Information Architecture
I designed a clear structure to organize information about plant species, care guidelines, watering, and tracking, enabling quick access to relevant data.

Wireframing & Prototyping
I created wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma to validate key flows such as plant search, care details, and status tracking.

Visual Design & UI
I developed a clean, natural visual interface using an organic, growth-inspired color palette, prioritizing clarity and readability.

Usability Testing
I conducted usability testing to validate information comprehension, ease of navigation, and effectiveness of the main flows.

Reflection

This project highlighted the importance of translating technical information into simple, accessible digital experiences. Designing Huerti required balancing educational content, tracking features, and a clear visual interface—creating an experience that supports users and encourages mindful plant care.
